Dancing and Cousins

Gretchen has now entered the "dancing" phase of toddlerhood. She likes to get a song playing on her music table and then "dance" to it by turning in circles. (Sorry the lighting is so bad - we'll have to take another one with better light.)

Julia's first cousin Jodi and her family visited. Jodi has 2 girls, and her youngest, Rebecca, is about 7 weeks younger than Gretchen. The two cousins played together nicely!

Candy Bucket

Gretchen is particular about putting things back where they belong (hopefully this trend continues as she gets older). In this video, Ben had put a bunch of Halloween candy bars on the piano bench and Gretchen put them back in the bucket, one by one.

Halloween

Ben used his mad whittling skills to carve this pumpkin for a contest which he won! Of course anything referring to Boise State University is big around here. It took a lot of time but it was worth it!

We hosted a Fall Party at our house and encouraged the guests to dress up since we did. Can you guess who we are?

I say we look pretty similar to the characters!

It's kinda hard to tell from the photos but Julia dyed her hair a reddish-orange color to look like Wilma. And look for the bone in Gretchen's hair!

Julia made decorated sugar cookies with a fall theme in mind.
