She's Here!

Our baby girl has finally arrived! Gretchen Elise Miller was born Friday, Sept. 26 at 9:48 am. She weighed 6 lbs, 1 oz. and was 20 inches long (tall and lean like her dad!). She had an infection so she was whisked away to NICU right after she was born and will be there until this Thurs, Oct. 2. It was very hard going home without our little girl. Julia has been spending 12 hours every day at the hospital to be with Gretchen and then goes home to sleep at night. We're anxious to have her home full time.

3 days old. The tube in her nose is a feeding tube. It looks uncomfortable but the nurses say the baby barely notices it.
